Lollapuzzoola 10 will take place on Saturday, August 19. That's a Saturday in August.

Lollapuzzoola is a crossword puzzle tournament in which everyone solves the same set of puzzles, and scores are based on speed and accuracy.

There are three basic divisions — Express (superfast solvers), Local (normal Earthlings), and Pairs (so you can team up with someone). Winners in each division are awarded prizes, which could range from a box of used pencils to a brand new car. So far, no one has ever won a car.

There are six tournament puzzles — the first five are for everyone, the last one for the finalists in each of the Express and Local Divisions. Puzzles range from easy to significantly less easy, and most have some kind of unusual theme or concept to them.

Also scattered throughout the day are additional puzzles and games, some of which have prizes attached, and some of which are simply fun because you like puzzles and we like you.

You can read more about the tournament’s history on our Wikipedia page. And if you have questions, feel free to use our contact form to send us a note.
